ALBERT BEER MAT DESIGN COMPETITION BRIEF

Brief:
The Royal Albert
have sent out this competition brief in order to get creative working on a
small time promotional campaign to boost their venue and in order to make
an attempt to bring in a younger crowd. The designer must design one, or
more, beer mat tops to be featured in the pub. Complete creative freedom is
given to the designer in this brief.

Background:
The Royal Albert
Pub, in South London, is an old Victorian pub that specialise in a variety
of ales, beers, and quality food. They have been attracting, somewhat of a
younger crowd but would like to increase their exposure. They feel that
this brief will be a fun and lighthearted way to bring the venue closer to
the creative world and, hence, attract new younger customers.

the customers of the pub (both young and old) like to see on a beer
mat
- How the will
designs break away from the usual boring beer brand mats
