i enjoyed this brief because it was something different. it had a real world application that was personally local and that could be applied to a real life campaign.
i enjoyed working in the group even though there were times when some members didnt deliver as expected and i had to 'mop up' but i didnt mind doing that because they are my friends and being part of a group means helping each other out when that help is needed. furthermore i know they would have done the same if i was unable to complete my tasks. i think overall we worked well, delegating tasks successfully to meet our skills and areas of expertise.
i think the outcomes were strong and worked well as a series that would be recognisable as an overall campaign if applied in real life. i think my poster designs were good but could have used some further development, which could have been done if it wasnt for the fact that they were needed the next day.
i was able to develop my hand rendering skills, my observational skills, my indesign and illsutrator skills and was also to gather some economic research which is something that i have not engaged in critically since a level and so was refreshing.
i am happy with the outcomes and the presentation went well also. i think the guys at DBA liked our concept and execution however we didnt win the competiton but thats no problem because we took part and made a really good effort.
