i began by developing a brainstorm of the different aspects of the course and the year.
i then did some research into synonyms and associated words to gain a broader lingual understanding
i showed it to the group and they agreed that the two circled names could potentially work and so i emailed duncan to get his thoughts
hi duncan hope youre well.
ive been brainstorming some name ideas and have come up with a few that we quite like but wanted to get your opinion on them too.
if there is one you particualrly like let me know, similarly, if you dont like any of them and feel the yearbook would work fine without a name (or just 1215...) let me know also.
NAMES:
- From Element to Ornament
- Aesthetic Nomads
- Pack Mentality
- In Grain
thanks,
Joe
Hi Joseph,
We’ve bee thinking this end too - the first is probably the best of them but doesn’t necessarily convey the full extent of the programme range. Would we get away without a title/no name and just sell the course as is without trying to label it beyond its actual name do you think? or perhaps even look to using one of the tribal marks/squiggles you were looking to develop? Almost like when Prince decided to be come TAFKAP / Squiggle?

hi duncan,
yeah we agree that none of the names fully encompass the course and to avoid not including all areas weve decided to go with just the 1215 and some symbology.
will develop that today and have things sent over to you later.
Joe.
Ok cool
