OUGD603. Extended Practice. Progress Tutorial with Simon.

i recently had a progress tutorial with simon to talk about where i was with my work and where i intended to be heading with my projects. i began by outlining the ones that i was still working on and how i planned to complete them.


we discussed the PTSPD yearbook development and what needed to be done with that.

i spoke about my plans for the design publication, in which i outlined my topic of research being barcelona and my application of the methodology i have been developing to it. i spoke about my desire to develop a formal version of a scrap book style publication and simon spoke to me about how that could be developed with a professional edge.

he highlighted the ned for me to complete all my blogging and to develop my design boards.

in terms of ppp it is just a case of me developing my personal branding and finalising the blog.

since the meeting with danny i have completed all the work i had to do for the PTSPD yearbook and we have sent that off for a test print.

i have also developed my research considerably for my design publication and have begun designing the layouts for the work i have produced and the ephemera i have collected.

the tutorial was useful in clearing up some querries i had about the design publication and ppp and was a good way for me to reflect and discuss with simon about what i had left to do and how best to do it.
