BRIEF TITLE: NICOLA
TOON LOGO DESIGN
|
Brief:
The client is in need
of a logo design to use for her surface pattern design and production identity.
She works in illustration, design, surface pattern design, and textiles
production and printing and would like a logo to represent both these
practices and her style.
She has requested that
the logo be a script lettering of the words ‘Nicola Toon Designs’ and that
the other design decisions are left to the designer to make.
|
Background:
Nicola Toon has a very
illustrative, hand rendered design style and uses craft techniques to produce
her work. As her pieces have become more noticed and demanded she has
developed a business side to her work. As a result she needs a strong,
stylish, and recognisable logo that works in line with her aesthetics.
|
Considerations:
· How the designer will consider aesthetic execution
in line with legibility
· How the designer will keep in mind the clients
style and work and generate a logo relative to these
